The workstation of the CellBRx® 1L system manages up to 8 disposable bioreactors, providing automated bench-top processing and assessment of several cell culture runs and studies.

The CellBRx® 1L system uses practical disposable micro bioreactors that are managed by an automated workstation to imitate the properties of large-scale DBR technology-based bioreactors at the microscale (1L). The workstation module offers automated pH monitoring, enhancing pH control and culture performance during initial bioreactor vessel pH sensor calibration and subsequent in-process re-calibration. Bioprocess engineering entails the maintenance and growth of many cells and microorganisms in a controlled environment so that they can create the needed compounds.
